This web site was developed to serve as a resource to both novices and experienced renovators working in the City of Saint Louis. Saint Louis is composed of 79 distinct neighborhoods, each with its own unique mix of historic buildings ranging from small frame shotgun homes to multi million dollar mansions, corner storefronts to massive warehouses. Preserving, restoring, and renovating these buildings helps enhance the city's overall character and appeal.
Crime of the Century
RenovateSTL.com is PROUD to host the official "Crime of the Century" web site at http://century.renovateSTL.com
As we approach the second anniversary, please take a few moments to look at Alan Brunettin's photos documenting the tragic demise of this former historic marble-clad building. Slowly but surely we are losing irreplaceable structures across the city - "it's just one building" starts to add up quickly until we are left without a record of our unique building heritage. |
The renovateSTL website is divided into the following sections. Please feel free to browse through any of the public content - additions and corrections are always appreciated.

renovateSTL homeGeneral information about renovateSTL. Currently the web site hosting and domain registration are paid out of pocket, and content is developed and posted in my spare time. Both monetary and content contributions would be greatly appreciated (and credited where appropriate). |
