This example renovation pro forma was prepared to assist small developers in planning for renovation projects. It was set up to behave as a complete system - Please fill out every "input" cell in order to best take advantage of the capabilities, and read the Information page carefully for additional instructions on how to use the workbook.
As always, RenovateSTL makes no guarantees of accuracy or fitness for any purpose. If you find any inconsistencies in the formulas, or if there is any other calculation you think would be valueable to add to future versions, please let me know.
Using the Worksheet
Particularly if this workbook is used as a financial feasibility tool, it may be necessary to make some assumptions. When this is necessary, I strongly recommend making conservative estimates so as to make a successful project more likely. It is always a better surprise to have extra money than not enough.
The workbook is "protected" against unauthorized changes - the light blue-gray cells require user input but the rest of the sheets are not editable. Again, if you run across an error, please let me know and I will post an updated file.
